I take a Vitamin K tablet every day how’s that for poetic?
As with some of the others, Vitamin K can help to heal wounds this is due to its ability to clot the blood. So with this in mind, it obviously might not be the best thing to take if you are on a blood thinner.
It is believed that Vitamin K can help to keep bones healthy which is good news for us.
There isn’t much of it around in foods though it is commonly found in green leafy vegetables like broccoli, kale, spinach. Come to think of it green leafy vegetables contain so many vitamins we should just focus on eating a load of them every meal.
Nobody really knows what happens if you take too much Vitamin K. I would guess at stomach pains with either diarrhoea or constipation, that usually seems to be the case.
